Shula's Steak House
270 W. 43rd St. New York, NY 10036
Food was good but service was just ok.
Amazing salad wedge, the size for 2, 24 oz porterhouse so good, u didn't need a knife! service amazing.
Shula's was a very pretty and inviting restaurant. i was shocked to see it there , as it is in a hotel and i never had taken notice before.
the food and wine were very good, unfortunately, they overcooked my fish , and they immediately offered to make another portion.
i refused , due to timing , so they took my entire entree off the bill
i like shulas and i have been to a few other shulas
it serves me right for ordering fish, my guest told me the steak was like butter
overall a good experience
The practice of arbitrarily adding tips to the bill discourages good service.if a waitperson knows that regardless of there service they are going to be rewarded is a disincentive to great service . I will no longer use savored at establishments that automatically add tips to the check . As a further note what happens if i order a 200 dollar bottle of wine ? you really have not thought this out
Great steak place with the feel of "old" new york. A wonderful place to slow down after the hustling and bustling of the streets.
