The regular menu was more limited as they were pushing restaurant week offerings. That was not clear on the web menus. Also think they are trying to hard with the cuisine. Little less contrived would be better.
I was most satisfied with the space and noise level. I had brunch with my roommates from college, and we just wanted to catch up. Nothing wild and crazy. We had a spacious table, and the volume was just right. We were a bit chilly, and we were disappointed that their online menu didn't match the menu when we arrived (we were bummed when they didn't have the lemon ricotta pancakes!), but overall, i'd go back again.
Only problem i had was with the loud music, which seems to be somewhat ubiquitous these days. makes conversation difficult for the hard of hearing.
Olives was great. we did not realize it is located in the w hotel and there is a bit of a bar scene that was really fun for people watching. menu was a little pricey but the preparation was a different and the food was delicious. we will definitely go back.
Nice atmophere, good food for brunch; went at an off hour and picked up the benefit that the four of us could hear each other.
