Very nice experience--food and service and reasonable.
Food was over all good. We had to send back food as it was not what it was supposed to be. The soup was watery not the way it used to be. The chicken dishes were excellent. We were told the restaurant was closed and we had to leave before we could even finish our wine. That was not the right thing to do. We were very surprised as downstairs was crowded still.
Great food. Friendly helpful professional service.
Excellent food, however, the service was slow.
This is classic indian fare that is a bit on the pricey side and not much better than the ones near the bowery. tandoori chicken tasted good but did not taste as if it was fine in an authentic tandoor oven. lamb vindaloo was very good as well. the bread was outstanding as was the cucumber raita. disappointing that rice does not come with the entrees at least they should have pain nan. bathrooms are in a dirty basement. not a pleasant thing.
